Vedanta Ltd is down for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at 195.4, down 0.2% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.33% on the day, quoting at 10663.5. The Sensex is at 35459.4, up 0.3%.Vedanta Ltd has lost around 7.57% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Metal index of which Vedanta Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 6.58% in last one month and is currently quoting at 3172.3, down 0.77% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 111.82 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 123.86 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark November futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 197.4, up 0.87% on the day. Vedanta Ltd tumbled 35.47% in last one year as compared to a 2.83% rally in NIFTY and a 15.74% fall in the Nifty Metal index.

The PE of the stock is 25.5 based on TTM earnings ending September 18.
