HDFC: India’s largest mortgage financer, HDFC Ltd, reported nearly four-time growth in its standalone net profit at ₹8,372.49 crore for the third quarter ended 31 December, 2019.

DHFL: Stressed mortgage lender Dewan Housing Finance Corp Ltd (DHFL) withdrew a resolution plan it had submitted to lenders and other institutional creditors in September 2019. Also, Enforcement Directorate on Monday arrested DHFL’s chairman and managing director Kapil Wadhawan in connection with the Iqbal Mirchi money laundering and illegal funding case.

InterGlobe Aviation: IndiGo parent InterGlobe Aviation on Monday reported a steep rise in profit after tax at ₹496 crore in the three months ended December 2019, mainly helped by higher income.

Maruti Suzuki: Country’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, on Monday announced increase in the prices of its products, in the range of 0% to 4.7%, due to hike in input cost. The revised prices will be implemented from 27 January. The auto giant will also announce its earnings for the third quarter ending 31 December today.

Adani Green Energy: Rosepetal Solar Energy Private Ltd (RSEPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Ltd has won a tender for 700 MW solar-wind hybrid power project from Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission.

United Spirits: India’s largest liquor firm on Monday reported a 35% hike in its net profit for December quarter. United Spirits Ltd posted a net profit of ₹258.8 crore during the third quarter compared to ₹192.4 crore a year ago.

Torrent Pharma: The company plans to raise ₹5,000 crore via issuance of equity shares including convertible bonds, debentures through qualified institutional placement (QIP) or depository receipts. Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd on Monday reported a net profit of ₹251 crore during December quarter, up 2% from ₹246 crore a year ago.

Earnings: Maruti Suzuki India, CG Power and Industrial Solutions and Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services are among the companies that will release their December quarter numbers today.
