State Bank of India gained 0.93% today to trade at Rs 293.85. The S&P BSE BANKEX index is up 0.76% to quote at 32648.01. The index is up 9.02 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, ICICI Bank Ltd increased 0.86% and Axis Bank Ltd added 0.78% on the day. The S&P BSE BANKEX index went up 16.92 % over last one year compared to the 12.6% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

State Bank of India has added 9.54% over last one month compared to 9.02% gain in S&P BSE BANKEX index and 5.26% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 52599 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 13.56 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 325.85 on 10 Aug 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 232 on 27 Apr 2018.
