The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.03% on the day, quoting at 10926.35. The Sensex is at 36421.86, down 0.06%.South Indian Bank Ltd has eased around 8.17% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Private Bank index of which South Indian Bank Ltd is a constituent, has increased around 3.62% in last one month and is currently quoting at 15557.4, up 0.19% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 57.91 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 161.23 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark January futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 14.05, down 0.71% on the day. South Indian Bank Ltd tumbled 55.96% in last one year as compared to a 1.44% slide in NIFTY and a 2.44% spurt in the Nifty Private Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 8.79 based on TTM earnings ending December 18.
