The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 136.84 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 144.11 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 5.04 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 7.62 per cent at Rs 852.14 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 791.80 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 15.07 per cent to Rs 669.97 crore from Rs 582.24 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 53.23 per cent at Rs 11.02 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 23.56 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 13.07 per cent to Rs 182.17 crore as against Rs 209.56 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 19.23 per cent in September quarter. Interest declined by 14.29 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.36 crore, while Taxation decreased by 41.79 per cent at Rs 44.54 crore (Sep'18 Rs 76.52 crore).
