The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 362.02 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 322.25 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 12.34 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 3.29 per cent at Rs 848.92 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 877.84 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 8.97 per cent to Rs 387.63 crore from Rs 425.84 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 19.25 per cent at Rs 34.68 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 42.95 crore). Operating Profit surged by 2.06 per cent to Rs 461.30 crore as against Rs 452.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 5.54 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 0.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.67 crore, while Taxation decreased by 30.36 per cent at Rs 112.25 crore (Sep'18 Rs 161.19 crore).
