Back home, the market settled with small decline on the last trading session of calendar 2018 after alternately swinging between positive and negative zone during the day. The Sensex fell 8.39 points or 0.02% to settle at 36,068.33.
The trading activity on that day showed that the foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth a net Rs 326.87 crore yesterday, 31 December 2018, as per provisional data released by the stock exchanges. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 321.98 crore yesterday, 31 December 2018, as per provisional data.
