The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 23.55 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 31.68 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 25.66 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 15.26 per cent at Rs 6,290.05 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 7,422.81 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 15.35 per cent to Rs 6,230.86 crore from Rs 7,360.34 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 88.81 per cent at Rs 2.70 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 1.43 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 5.25 per cent to Rs 59.19 crore as against Rs 62.47 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 11.90 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 103.42 per cent y-o-y to Rs 26.77 crore, while Taxation decreased by 27.19 per cent at Rs 11.70 crore (Sep'18 Rs 16.07 crore).
