The Minister of State for Finance Shiv Pratap Shukla has informed the Lok Sabha that Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has realised a profit of Rs 26147.52 crore in the financial years in 2017-18 up from Rs 20269.47 crore in 2016-17. This is an increase of 29% over the previous financial year (2016-17).
