Meanwhile, S&P BSE Sensex was down 387.64 points or 1.04% at 36,730.58.

On BSE, 15,000 shares were traded in KRBL counter, compared to a 2-week average of 56,000 shares. The share price hit an intraday high of Rs 235.90 and an intraday low of Rs 221.35. It hit a 52-week high of Rs 411.50 on 23 August 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 197.45 on 22 July 2019.

Shares of KRBL gained 6.80% in the past two trading sessions to settle at Rs 236.15 on Friday, 2 August 2019, from its close of Rs 221.10 on 31 July 2019.

KRBL's consolidated net profit jumped 36.1% to Rs 136.12 crore on a 63.8% rise in net sales to Rs 1,217.70 crore in Q1 June 2019 compared with Q1 June 2018.

The result was announced after trading hours on Thursday, 1 August 2019. Following the Q1 results, the stock jumped 3.37% to end at Rs 236.15 on Friday, 2 August 2019.
