Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd decreased 1.42% and Tata Steel Ltd lost 0.91% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 29.78 % over last one year compared to the 5.91% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 256.8 on 11 Feb 2019.
