The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 17.93 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 7.67 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 133.77 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 7.98 per cent at Rs 216.14 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 200.17 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 8.31 per cent to Rs 193.59 crore from Rs 178.74 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 87.50 per cent at Rs 0.15 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 0.08 crore). Operating Profit surged by 5.23 per cent to Rs 22.55 crore as against Rs 21.43 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 2.61 per cent in September quarter. Interest declined by 11.56 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.53 crore, while Taxation decreased by 210.55 per cent at Rs -5.03 crore (Sep'18 Rs 4.55 crore).
