Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd decreased 2.3% and JSW Steel Ltd lost 1.86% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 13.1 % over last one year compared to the 6.87% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
