Net profit of South Indian Bank rose 1523.38% to Rs 70.13 crore on 2.08% rise in total income to Rs 1854.40 crore in Q2 September 2018 over Q2 September 2017. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 15 October 2018.

On a consolidated basis, net profit of Indiabulls Housing Finance rose 21.22% to Rs 1044.15 crore on 23.25% rise in total income to Rs 4255.27 crore in Q2 September 2018 over Q2 September 2017. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 15 October 2018.

OCL India (OCL) will be watched. The board of directors approved the implementation of the scheme of arrangement and amalgamation of OCL and Dalmia Cement East (DCEL) & other associates into Odisha Cement (ODCL). Post-merger, ODCL shall be renamed as OCL India. The board fixed 26 October 2018 as the record date for determining the eligible shareholders of OCL for issue of ODCL shares on merger. Consequently, the shares of OCL India shall cease to trade with effect from 26 October 2018. The implementation timelines of amalgamation of DBL shall be communicated shortly.
