The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 51.84 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 39.99 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 29.63 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined by 5.35 per cent at Rs 384.24 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 405.96 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 4.35 per cent to Rs 324.85 crore from Rs 339.63 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 96.17 per cent at Rs 10.75 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 5.48 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 7.55 per cent to Rs 63.05 crore as against Rs 68.20 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 2.32 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 290.91 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.86 crore, while Taxation decreased by 67.23 per cent at Rs 7.50 crore (Sep'18 Rs 22.89 crore).
