GAIL (India) Ltd fell for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at 333.3, down 0.42% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 1.5% on the day, quoting at 10533.35. The Sensex is at 35148.11, down 1.47%.GAIL (India) Ltd has eased around 8.62% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which GAIL (India) Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 1.39% in last one month and is currently quoting at 14013.65, down 2.55% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 31.18 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 52.08 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark December futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 334.6, down 0.52% on the day. GAIL (India) Ltd tumbled 7.65% in last one year as compared to a 2.05% rally in NIFTY and a 3.38% fall in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 13.75 based on TTM earnings ending September 18.
