The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 58.70 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 31.73 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 85.00 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose by 5.16 per cent at Rs 274.38 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 260.91 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 3.25 per cent to Rs 209.27 crore from Rs 202.68 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 77.48 per cent at Rs 5.91 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 3.33 crore). Operating Profit surged by 11.80 per cent to Rs 65.11 crore as against Rs 58.24 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 6.32 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 20.75 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.64 crore, while Taxation decreased by 79.38 per cent at Rs 5.16 crore (Sep'18 Rs 25.02 crore).
