Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 1218.57 crore from the secondary equity markets on 19 June 2018, as compared with net outflow of Rs 406.78 crore on 18 June 2018.

The net outflow of Rs 1218.57 crore into the secondary equity markets on 19 June 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4503.96 crore and gross sales of Rs 5722.53 crore.

There was a net inflow of Rs 192.23 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 19 June 2018.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 20360.47 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 19 June 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 14468.43 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 19 June 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
