Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 2377.49 crore from the secondary equity markets on 20 June 2018, as compared with net outflow of Rs 1218.57 crore on 19 June 2018.

The net outflow of Rs 2377.49 crore into the secondary equity markets on 20 June 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3825.40 crore and gross sales of Rs 6202.89 crore.

There was a net inflow of Rs 3.77 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 20 June 2018.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 22737.96 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 20 June 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 14472.20 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 20 June 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
