The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 325.54 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 307.26 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 5.95 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 4.88 per cent at Rs 1,612.20 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,537.20 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 4.35 per cent to Rs 1,237.36 crore from Rs 1,185.73 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 0.81 per cent at Rs 75.12 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 75.73 crore). Operating Profit surged by 6.65 per cent to Rs 374.84 crore as against Rs 351.47 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 1.71 per cent in September quarter. Interest declined by 27.94 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.83 crore, while Taxation decreased by 46.59 per cent at Rs 45.76 crore (Sep'18 Rs 85.67 crore).
