The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 174.36 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 102.18 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 70.64 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 7.47 per cent at Rs 1,429.88 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,330.45 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 5.30 per cent to Rs 1,210.11 crore from Rs 1,149.18 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 20.30 per cent at Rs 12.09 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 10.05 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 21.24 per cent to Rs 219.77 crore as against Rs 181.27 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 12.85 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 52.98 per cent y-o-y to Rs 7.19 crore, while Taxation decreased by 85.86 per cent at Rs 7.74 crore (Sep'18 Rs 54.74 crore).
