Tata Steel Ltd rose for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 599.65, up 1.77% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.24% on the day, quoting at 10608.4. The Sensex is at 35224.53, up 0.23%. Tata Steel Ltd has added around 5.2% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Metal index of which Tata Steel Ltd is a constituent, has added around 0.1% in last one month and is currently quoting at 3410.55, up 0.28% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 157.85 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 56.63 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark November futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 600.85, up 1.51% on the day. Tata Steel Ltd is down 7.13% in last one year as compared to a 4.85% gain in NIFTY and a 6.58% gain in the Nifty Metal index.

The PE of the stock is 8.51 based on TTM earnings ending June 18.
