The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 54.77 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 51.31 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 6.74 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 33.33 per cent at Rs 1,805.60 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,354.21 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 35.06 per cent to Rs 1,732.84 crore from Rs 1,283.04 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 54.16 per cent at Rs 15.37 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 9.97 crore). Operating Profit surged by 2.23 per cent to Rs 72.76 crore as against Rs 71.17 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 23.38 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 71.18 per cent y-o-y to Rs 26.67 crore, while Taxation decreased by 440.20 per cent at Rs -10.24 crore (Sep'18 Rs 3.01 crore).
