Exide Industries Ltd gained 1.58% today to trade at Rs 227.85. The S&P BSE Auto index is up 0.71% to quote at 19016.9. The index is down 4.41 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Hero MotoCorp Ltd increased 1.11% and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd added 1.03% on the day. The S&P BSE Auto index went down 25.12 % over last one year compared to the 5.38% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Exide Industries Ltd has lost 11.86% over last one month compared to 4.41% fall in S&P BSE Auto index and 2.61% rise in the SENSEX.
