The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 322.02 crore compared to net profit of Rs 336.05 crore in the previous year quarter.  Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 4.59 per cent at Rs 1,738.65 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,822.28 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 0.38 per cent to Rs 1,313.15 crore from Rs 1,318.11 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 8.05 per cent at Rs 63.66 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 69.23 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 15.60 per cent to Rs 425.50 crore as against Rs 504.17 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 11.56 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 40500.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 8.12 crore, while Taxation decreased by 240.18 per cent at Rs -185.82 crore (Sep'18 Rs 132.56 crore).
