India's headline consumer price inflation rose 3.31% year-on-year in October after a 3.70% increase in September, which was revised from 3.77 percent, provisional figures from the statistics ministry showed on Monday. Food price inflation was a -0.86% in October versus 0.51% in September. On a month-on-month basis, the CPI rose 0.29% in October, while food prices declined 0.50%.
