Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 1364.12 crore from the secondary equity markets on 10 August 2018, compared with net inflow of Rs 411.49 crore on 9 August 2018.

The net inflow of Rs 1364.12 crore into the secondary equity markets on 9 August 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5496.16 crore and gross sales of Rs 4132.04 crore.

There was a net outflow of Rs 31.71 crore from the 'primary market & others' category on 9 August 2018.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 21083.55 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 10 August 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 20622.55 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 10 August 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
